Producing a self-wetting and mechanically fully resilient hose is a major challenge. It is important to achieve high resistance with low weight and low consumption of water for wetting, as this is often the least available resource in forest fires.
WEEPFLEX is fully perforated and wets itself completely within minutes, yet the water loss is so low that it is hardly noticeable in the extinguishing water quantities.
